Terms of Use & Membership Terms — Bay Area Business Alliance

Last updated: November 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of txbizalliance.com and, for members, your membership in the Bay Area Business Alliance ("BABA," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website you agree to these Terms. By applying for or holding membership, you agree to the Membership Terms in Sections 3 through 9.

1. Website content. This website describes the Alliance for general information. Statements on this site — including statements about membership size, seats, and referral activity — are informational; past referral activity is not a promise or guarantee of future referrals, leads, or revenue.

2. Intellectual property. The content, branding, and the Bay Area Business Alliance name and logo on this website are owned by BABA or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

3. Membership is selective. BABA is a private, application-only network. Membership is limited to a set number of seats, with one seat per industry category. We may accept or decline any application in our sole discretion, and acceptance is not guaranteed by applying, being referred by a member, or attending as a guest.

4. Membership dues and the no-refund policy. Membership dues are $1,000 per year. Membership payments are non-refundable. By paying dues, you acknowledge that membership buys access to the network — meetings, the member directory, and referral participation — and not any guaranteed volume of referrals, leads, or business.

5. Member expectations. Members are expected to attend weekly meetings (or send a substitute), respond to referrals promptly and professionally, and hold any licensing and insurance their trade requires. Guest referrals must be people the member genuinely believes are a fit for the Alliance.

6. Removal. We may suspend or remove a member, without refund, for conduct inconsistent with these Terms or the interests of the Alliance — including repeated unexcused absences, unprofessional conduct toward members, guests, or referred customers, or misrepresentation of licensing or insurance status.

7. Guest referrals. If you submit a guest's contact information, you confirm you have a genuine relationship with that person and a reasonable basis to share their details with us for an invitation.

8. Member portal. Members may be given access to Alliance Connect, our member portal. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.

9. No agency. Membership does not create a partnership, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship between you and BABA or between members. Members are independent businesses; BABA is not responsible for the work, services, or conduct of any member business, and a referral is not an endorsement or guarantee of any member's work.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability. This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BABA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or from membership.

11. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

12. Changes and contact. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Questions: info@txbizalliance.com.
